January 2015 Braces OFF and Date Night

Big day for this kid :) phase one of braces complete.... Only $1500... He won't be excited in a couple years to get them back on and cost us another $4,500! Can't wait lol really thrilled that all my kids look like they will need them! Tax season is rough on our family every year. Jim works pretty much every day from January until April when the deadline is over. We try to meet and do dinner or dinner and a movie if we aren't too tired. Thankfully NeyNey is willing to watch the kiddos, usually on Friday nights. Since she works all week and her first night off is Friday, she likes just hanging at home and going to bed early. Works for us! We rarely take photos of ourselves. Luckily I was able to take a quick "selfie" of our date. We went to Oswego movie theatre and watched the Wedding Ringer. I finally got to sit in the comfy new (not so new but every time I went I never got to sit in them) recliner seats! They were so nice, I never want to sit in another regular seat again! My dad would have loved them! Usually our dates are spur of the moment and just us. I love the time we spend together.

Christmas 2014

We spent Christmas eve at Jim's dad's house, then came home to hang out. Ryan and Amanda stayed the night with Ella. Mom made our traditional yummy cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Every year gets more fun with the kids and their excitement for Santa. They had so much fun opening presents. It took us forever! The older kids got their "big" presents last. The boys got new iPad mini's and Brinley got her American Girl doll of the year she has been wanting forever (Isabelle).

December 2014

I wanted to snap a photo of the kids before church quick. They are growing soooo fast! They are all such amazing kiddos. We love you all more than anything <3<3<3

Emry & Paisley turn TWO!

It's not easy having your birthday just 4 days before Christmas! I guess it's better than being on Christmas. Uncle Ryan and Aunt Amanda came over, with Ney Ney, and we celebrated. They were happy to have their own chairs to sit in. Emry's is purple and Paisley's pink. I think when they get older they will hate those colors. Emry's favorite will be pink and Paisley's purple lol! We shall see! They are such awesome little girls. We are so blessed to have them. Ella is their best little buddy. She keeps right up with them as if they are the same age.

Tristan turns 9!!!

Tristan was really excited for his birthday. He requested an SU cake (no surprise there). He really wanted a pair of orange sneakers to match all of his SU clothes he wears. I think the photos show how happy he was to get them. Brinley was not happy at all. When someone has a birthday, the other kids usually get jealous of the presents. Hard life I know. Jim was also able to get Tristan some tickets to watch an SU game at the dome. I love him so much. He's such a good big brother and helper. I probably say that all the time but he really is. I depend on him for a lot. He continues to amaze me by how smart he is. He still loves to read. Happy 9th Birthday buddy!

Thanksgiving 2014

Since the girls were getting a little too big for their high chairs, we got them a cute little table and chairs set to eat at. They loved it of course! We started with just 2 chairs, but ordered another one for Ella :). I was able to take just the boys for dental visits, so we stopped for breakfast. They are in the Pokémon card phase. Of course they played (looked at) all their cards during breakfast. As you can see Tristan has a nice bruised eye. He was hit in the face with a basketball. We took him for a scan to make sure nothing was broken. Thankfully he was fine. We were invited down to Penn Yan for Thanksgiving. Aunt Tammy and the girls did a cute snowman craft with the kids. They plugged in and lit up for Christmas. It's so nice to spend time with our family on holidays. I sure hope my kids remember these times, just as I remember when I was little.

November 2014

Taking pictures of my own kiddos is a challenge. I usually decide last minute to throw clothes together and take them out to shoot. We raked up some leaves and then took a couple shots. The babies didn't want to sit still and smile. They wanted to play with the leaves...so that's what they did. We also had to pull out some dum dums for them to eat lol! As you can see, they made it in the picture too! I also got a cute picture of Emry and Paisley eating dinner :)

Tristan's notes!

I think these babies explain themselves :)

October 2014!!!

I'm SOOOOO behind on my blog! Waaaah. I'm using my facebook posts for the time I missed. My blog is one of my favorite things. I love looking back through my books and reading all the stories and looking at pictures. I'm so sad life was crazy enough that I didn't post and keep up. So we will begin where I left off...October 2014! Right after Easton's birthday. We had a hard time finding Halloween costumes for the twinsies. All I could come up with was Elsa and Ana costumes from Target. They of course loved them! The girls were so scared of Tristan's costume. I wanted to take a group shot of them on our front step. As you can see, that didn't go well! Poor Emry was terrified. We went trick or treating around Partick Circle with our friends Keagan and Kinsley. They had fun but Emry and Paisley kept dumping the candy out of their buckets as they walked. Next year...we are doing bags! We were invited up to Penn Yan for Landyn's senior night football game. It was fun cheering him on and spending time with the Drake crew.
